Hershey Hall Foyer and Hallway

It features a wood-paneled ceiling, ornate wall sconces, a handsome antique table original to the building, a display of historic imagery related to Mira Hershey Hall, and a bank of small mailboxes dating to the time when Mira Hershey Hall served as UCLA’s women’s dormitory. The size and ambience of the Foyer make it special for small receptions and also as a gathering spot for events scheduled in the Salon, to which it is adjacent. Leading to the Foyer and Hershey Salon, the Hershey Hallway features a suite of original artwork connected with an addition to Mira Hershey Hall that, from 1959-2006, was on the site presently occupied by the Terasaki Life Sciences Building. The Hershey Hallway is flanked on one side with windows looking into the courtyard and is the home of a vintage bench bearing the original 1910 seal of the University of California that was designed by Tiffany & Co.
